Inclement Weather Notice: With the risk of inclement weather increasing daily, please be sure to call the shelter before coming out.  We will try to keep the shelter open every Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 PM, but if the roads are bad, this may not be possible.  Please call if you are not sure - (540)921-2053.

From Blacksburg, Christiansburg -

460 W towards West Virginia
1st Pearisburg exit
At stop sign take a left
Pass Walmart...the High School
At 2nd stoplight (in town/beside courthouse)
Left on Route 100 South
2.8 Miles (road curves/climbs..then starts back downhill)
Right on Wilburn Valley Road (between country store & moose lodge)
Stay on Wilburn Valley Road for 3 miles
Left on Green Hollow Road, Route 664
Shelter is one mile down Green Hollow Road on right
(Shelter sets back in the woods-small light colored bldg-red gate at driveway entrance).

From Radford - take Rt. 114, Peppers Ferry road, to Price’s Fork road.   Follow Price’s Fork road until it connects with Rt. 460 West.  Follow the rest of the directions above.
