Lost & Found Listings

Updated: November 12, 2013

We are adding this page to the site to help lost and found pets reunite with their families. The listings will be by the county in which the animal was lost or found. If you would like to list an animal on this site please contact Jason - - or Kim - - by e-mail. Select links below to jump down to that county's listings. We are not responsible for any errors reported here, we post what people send us. We are also not responsible for rewards that are listed here for the return of other people's animals, all such matters should be taken up with the people providing the reward. This page was created as a service to people who have lost a beloved pet. We do not charge for listing a lost/found pet on this page.

NOTICE: We will remove listings that have been on for 1 year, unless you ask us to keep them on the site. We have no problem keeping animals on at the owner's request, just let us know if you want the listing to continue after the year is up. Thanks!

Our cat went missing in Terrace View (building 700 by the UCB time check bus stop) in Blacksburg (11/9/13). She's a small, chubby, brownish-gray tabby cat and will possibly respond to Savannah or Baby. She's 2 years old, with a saggy belly, white fur on her face/chest, and green/yellow eyes. She's a very friendly cat, but she might be skittish because she's scared. She has both sets of her claws, she's UTD on shots, and she's fixed. Please contact Shelley at (301) 752-8240 if you've seen her or have her safe and sound (ANYTIME). Any tips would be appreciated, and there's a reward for getting her back to us. We really miss her and just want her home. (picture 2, picture 3, picture 4) (added: 11/12/2013) - NEW!!

I found a cat that is very friendly and domesticated but showed obvious signs of being lost for a while - she was very skinny, hungry, and dirty as if she didn't know how to take care of herself outisde. She is long haired, orange and white, appears very young, but not exactly a kitten anymore, very friendly, comes when you call for her, and not shy or skittish at all. Contact: meb92@vt.edu.
