We are not responsible for any errors reported here, we post what
people send us. We are also not responsible for rewards that are
listed here for the return of other people's animals, all such matters
should be taken up with the people providing the reward. This page
was created as a service to people who have lost a beloved pet.
We do not charge for listing a lost/found pet on this page.

My darling cat Irwin has been missing from the Bent Mountain area since May 1, 2010. I lived in Blacksburg for several years and Hiwassee before that. I think, if he's alive, he could be traveling from Bent mtn to his old stomping grounds. He is a grey and fawn, long-haired tabby. Yellow eyes. About 5 years old. Fixed male. He has feral tendencies, but can be a love-bug. He doesn't like to be held by certain people. At his last vet's visit in April, he weighed 17 lbs. I currently live in CA and my parents were taking care of him when he took off. Please let me know if you have seen him! On Thursday of last week, 8/27/09, my cat disappeared from our home at 3000 Buffalo Mountain Road in Willis, VA. We returned from vacation 8/30/09 and haven't seen him since. The folks looking after the place said the last time they saw him was 8/27/09. He is a large sized, DSH, neutered male cat with mostly gray and black tabby markings with big blotches of white, mostly on his belly and feet. Below is a photo. He is 16 years old, but does not look his age. This photo was taken about four years ago. We lost our beloved dog last night while hiking Angel's Rest near Narrows VA. Our boy is a good hiker, but not an outdoor dog. He's used to indoor life and we are very worried. He's got his tags on, but can be scared of strangers. (Not agressive, just will run away)

My cat has been missing since Sunday, July 4 th. He usually never leaves the yard, and he's NEVER out at night. We have a cat door that we usually lock at night to keep the raccoons out, but we left it open and he never came home.

Bane is an 11 year old hound mix. He is dark brown, around 60 lbs, neutered and fully vaccinated. He has a distinguishing white mark on his chest, he is graying on his face and he has several benign lumps on his ribs, legs and tail. He is scared of thunder and runs blindly if he is not crated during a storm. Typically, we know when a storm is approaching and get him inside or he asks to be let in…sometimes we aren't quick enough and he runs. He ran away June 24, 2010, at approximately 4:00 PM from our home on Little River Road. Unfortunately, he and his collar were both drying from a bath, so he left without any identification. He is very friendly, gentle and smart. He is timid around alpha dogs. He has previously run away before a storm and ended up, in just a few hours, off Christiansburg Pike between Deerfield and Blue Bird, which is several miles from our home. (7/5/10) |

As of yesterday, our 6-7 week-old Siamese mix kittens are missing after running from a dog under a neighbors fence. One is grey (like a grey tabby w/o stripes) and has black points. The other is red-brown (almost black-bodied) w/black points. Despite their age, they are extremely small. Their brother is actually quite big compared to them. We have found a dog in Giles County on Curve Road in Pearisburg, VA. It is a male, but I am not sure what kind of dog he is. He is very small, white and black, and very friendly. He has been hanging around the house for a few days. We really need to find his home! He seems to be well groomed and taken care of.

These are two dogs that have been running around in the Plum Creek area for a few days. They are residing in my dog lot at the moment, but it is not an ideal space for them. Spayed black female mix found on 460 near downtown Christiansburg on ramp on 7/27/09. Her collar has no ID on it. The vet said she's about 3 years old, is
not microchipped, and is in good health. She's 30 pounds, very sweet and
well-behaved, knows a few commands, appears to be housebroken and crate
trained, and must have come from a home. She has a wound over her eye that

Found in Copper Beach Town Homes in Radford VA. We are hoping that we can find this kitten's old home or possibly find it a new home. The vet told us she was approximately 3 or 4 months old.
